If I could interview anybody living deceased or fictional I would chose
Princess Diana Princess Diana was a model of love compassion bravery and
generosity I believe that I could benefit from this interview greatly I admire
Princess Diana and I believe that I could learn a lot from an interview with her
The first question that I would ask her is what being a princess was like
All little girl s dreams were to become princess like Snow White or Sleeping
Beauty I would ask her if it was like living in a fairy tale life
Another thing that I would ask her is how she could dedicate her life to
helping people She traveled the world to less fortunate countries to help people
with diseases and misfortune I believe that what she did was wonderful I think
that everybody could benefit from learning and helping others
Another question that I would ask Princess Diana would be what it was like
to not have a moment of privacy during her life All of the time that she spent
with us was broadcasted to the whole world Her marriage and her children were
not private and she had no secretes from anybody It must have been difficult for
her to live with The people who took pictures of her and filmed her live were in
the end the ones who killed her
If I could interview anybody living deceased or fictional I would chose
Princess Diana I believe that I could learn a lot from her life and so could many
people She was an amazing woman She helped people less fortunate than she
was she dedicated her life to make the world a better place for herself and others
Something there is that doesnt love a wall
That sends the frozen-ground-swell under it
And spills the upper boulders in the sun
And makes gaps even two can pass abreast
The work of hunters is another thing 5
I have come after them and made repair
Where they have left not one stone on a stone
But they would have the rabbit out of hiding
To please the yelping dogs The gaps I mean
No one has seen them made or heard them made 10
But at spring mending-time we find them there
I let my neighbor know beyond the hill
And on a day we meet to walk the line
And set the wall between us once again
We keep the wall between us as we go15
To each the boulders that have fallen to each
And some are loaves and some so nearly balls
We have to use a spell to make them balance
Stay where you are until our backs are turned
We wear our fingers rough with handling them20
Oh just another kind of outdoor game
One on a side It comes to little more
There where it is we do not need the wall
He is all pine and I am apple orchard
My apple trees will never get across25
And eat the cones under his pines I tell him
He only says Good fences make good neighbors
Spring is the mischief in me and I wonder
If I could put a notion in his head
Why do they make good neighbors Isnt it30
Where there are cows But here there are no cows
Before I built a wall Id ask to know
What I was walling in or walling out
And to whom I was like to give offense
Something there is that doesnt love a wall35
That wants it down I could say Elves to him
But its not elves exactly and Id rather
He said it for himself I see him there
Bringing a stone grasped firmly by the top
In each hand like an old-stone savage armed40
He moves in darkness as it seems to me
Not of woods only and the shade of trees
He will not go behind his fathers saying
And he likes having thought of it so well
He says again Good fences make good neighbors45

A stone wall separates the speakers property from his neighbors In spring the two meet to walk the wall and jointly make repairs The speaker sees no reason for the wall to be kept–there are no cows to be contained just apple and pine trees He does not believe in walls for the sake of walls The neighbor resorts to an old adage Good fences make good neighbors The speaker remains unconvinced and mischievously presses the neighbor to look beyond the old-fashioned folly of such reasoning His neighbor will not be swayed The speaker envisions his neighbor as a holdover from a justifiably outmoded era a living example of a dark-age mentality But the neighbor simply repeats the adage
Blank verse is the baseline meter of this poem but few of the lines march along in blank verses characteristic lock-step iambs five abreast Frost maintains five stressed syllables per line but he varies the feet extensively to sustain the natural speech-like quality of the verse There are no stanza breaks obvious end-rhymes or rhyming patterns but many of the end-words share an assonance eg wall hill balls wall and well sun thing stone mean line and again or game them and him twice Internal rhymes too are subtle slanted and conceivably coincidental The vocabulary is all of a piece–no fancy words all short only one word another is of three syllables all conversational–and this is perhaps why the words resonate so consummately with each other in sound and feel

I have a friend who as a young girl had to memorize this poem as punishment for some now-forgotten misbehavior Forced memorization is never pleasant still this is a fine poem for recital Mending Wall is sonorous homey wry–arch even–yet serene it is steeped in levels of meaning implied by its well-wrought metaphoric suggestions These implications inspire numerous interpretations and make definitive readings suspect Here are but a few things to think about as you reread the poem
The image at the heart of Mending Wall is arresting two men meeting on terms of civility and neighborliness to build a barrier between them They do so out of tradition out of habit Yet the very earth conspires against them and makes their task Sisyphean Sisyphus you may recall is the figure in Greek mythology condemned perpetually to push a boulder up a hill only to have the boulder roll down again These men push boulders back on top of the wall yet just as inevitably whether at the hand of hunters or sprites or the frost and thaw of natures invisible hand the boulders tumble down again Still the neighbors persist The poem thus seems to meditate conventionally on three grand themes barrier-building segregation in the broadest sense of the word the doomed nature of this enterprise and our persistence in this activity regardless
But as we so often see when we look closely at Frosts best poems what begins in folksy straightforwardness ends in complex ambiguity The speaker would have us believe that there are two types of people those who stubbornly insist on building superfluous walls with clicheacutes as their justification and those who would dispense with this practice–wall-builders and wall-breakers But are these impulses so easily separable And what does the poem really say about the necessity of boundaries
The speaker may scorn his neighbors obstinate wall-building may observe the activity with humorous detachment but he himself goes to the wall at all times of the year to mend the damage done by hunters it is the speaker who contacts the neighbor at wall-mending time to set the annual appointment Which person then is the real wall-builder The speaker says he sees no need for a wall here but this implies that there may be a need for a wall elsewhere– where there are cows for example Yet the speaker must derive something some use some satisfaction out of the exercise of wall-building or why would he initiate it here There is something in him that does love a wall or at least the act of making a wall
This wall-building act seems ancient for it is described in ritual terms It involves spells to counteract the elves and the neighbor appears a Stone-Age savage while he hoists and transports a boulder Well wall-building is ancient and enduring–the building of the first walls both literal and figurative marked the very foundation of society Unless you are an absolute anarchist and do not mind livestock munching your lettuce you probably recognize the need for literal boundaries Figuratively rules and laws are walls justice is the process of wall-mending
In all of life death has been tied in with many different topics at hand Throughout the play Romeo and Juliet William Shakespeare shows death in many ways as it is tied in with love hatred and also foreshadowing of future events Death is showed within the topic of love due to the fact of Romeo and Juliets love for each other which led to both of their deaths Hatred brings death to many as fighting with each other causes the death of people from the houses of Capulet and Montague At last foreshadowing that is implied by Romeo and Juliet pictures death many times as to what will occur in the future
Love is a very important topic throughout the entire play but death is a large consequence to pay for the love Romeo and Juliet have for each other Since the houses of Montague and Capulet hate each other the love between Romeo and Juliet will have certain consequences which may lead to a certain death for both of them Juliet knows that the love she has for Romeo is nothing but troublesome and that her family is the trouble That I must love a loathed enemy Iv138 Showing the love she has is to be brought to a tragic end The love between Romeo and Juliet might be strong but yet one interferes with it Paris is to wed Juliet and his never ending love brings his death when he fights Romeo in the Capulets vault so he can be with Juliet forever Love might be grand but death is quite a consequence to pay for being in love with someone
The hatred between the families of Capulet and Montague certainly brings death to many throughout the play also A dispute is to occur between Tybalt and Mercutio in the streets of Verona in which Romeo try to stop but yet fails and death falls upon Mercutio Due to the death of Mercutio Romeo fights Tybalt in the sense of revenge and states that Either thou or I or both must go with him IIIi112 Showing death is to fall on one of them and will join Mercutio When Paris wants to be with Juliet in the Capulets vault he sees Romeo and thinks he will do something bad to Juliets body and means only harm As he ponders this he decides to fight Romeo and falls dead due to the hate he had for Romeo Hatred brings trouble to many but even worse it brings death to many also especially those of the houses of Capulet and Montague
Foreshadowing pictures death in many ways throughout the play and Romeo and Juliet are the main people that picture death within the future Juliet shows that if she is to wed Romeo that My grave is like to be my wedding bed Iv131 This clearly shows that this wedding which may take place means certain death for Juliet Romeo also feels that the idea of going to Capulets party is not in his best interests and believes that for some reason this may be the beginning of the end for him When Romeo hears of him being banished he states that he will tear out his hair And fall upon the ground as I do now Taking the measure of an unmade graveIIIiii69-70 This shows that the future event of him being banished will bring his death The future holds the death to all but yet foreshadowing in any sense may show whom that death might fall on over others
Death is showed in many ways throughout Romeo and Juliet but mainly in the ways of love which comes between Romeo and Juliet The hatred between the houses of Capulet and Montague also portrays death Also that in foreshadowing of future events yet to occur pictures death as something to happen within the future In all of Romeo and Juliet William Shakespeare shows death in these many ways of love hatred and foreshadowing Love and hatred still till this day brings death to those that are unfortunate and hints are always given as a form of foreshadowing to whos death may occur next within society
What is This Thing Called Love
A wise man once said that love is a wonderful thing Although this statement leaves sparse room for argument it does little to define what love is beyond the vague realm of wonderful It is my duty as a devout romantic to embark upon the seemingly difficult task of defining love by looking at the history explaining what love is not and examining the uses of love and the results of that usage
Origin and Causes
The origin of the word is probably the most logical place to start As with many words in the English language love is a derivative of the Latin word causemajoraproblemus which means Youre miserable when you got it and miserable when you dont The word was created to explain the biological phenomenon that existed when certain individuals came into contact with each other and either remained together or went about their lives separately Regardless of the outcome the relationship was usually characteristic of throat lumps knotted stomaches weak knees temporary loss of language sweaty palms dizzyness sneezing and occasional nausea Belligerent insanity also resulted History clearly illustrates this Can we ever forget the face that launched a thousand ships Federally expressing Van Goghs ear The construction of Le Tour Eiffel All of these were results of love and love lost
Negation
Star-crossed lovers have stated that love is not hand nor foot nor any part belonging to a man Matrimonial ceremonies also claim that love is not jealous or boastful Let it be stated hear that love also is not a gourmet dish a domesticated animal or a latest trend Love is not a strategic defense mechanism nor the best kept secret at the Pentagon Love is not another seasoning to bottle and stick on the dust-lined shelves of the spice rack Love is not to be confused with adhesive tape
Instead love is a great counterpart to late evening thunder storms on hot July nights Love goes well with cold pizza on picnic blankets Love is cold wet sand between bare toes Love is a capitalistic sell-all for novels Top-40 pop songs summer movies and greeting cards
In its simplest terms love is a four-letter word Much like other words of similar letter make up when expressed it can evoke laughter pleasure pain anger and virtually any wave of reaction Love also can be confused with feelings of indigestion and gas Houses have been built burned and banished because of love
Love

It was a cold day in November of 1999 The wind was strong and there was a lot of snow on the ground Well it was a typical day for my family My mother Marisa my younger sister Jessica and I went to go visit my grandmother in the Bronx We arrived there about 930am in the morning give or take a minute or too We were initially planning to visit my grandfather in the hospital but beforehand we decided to take up some time and help clean the house a little bit For the past couple of weeks My grandfather really hasnt been doing well at all concerning his health We would usually go visit him early at the hospital around 1 or 2 in the afternoon However on this day we lost track of time and we ended up going later at 430 to the Westchester Square hospital On the way to the hospital I felt very weird feelings inside but I really thought nothing of it Therefore when we arrived at the hospital me and my mother sister went to room 316 the room he was staying in As I walked into the room I saw my grandfathers face and it was not the same He had his head tilted to the side with the saddest look on his face I could see it in his eyes that things were not looking good for him As we walked in the room he did not say a word to us All he did was look around with this stare that is indescribable He stared at me as if everything was over for him I immediately went up to him and gave him a kiss and asked him how we was doing and if he was okay When he tried to answer me all he was doing was stuttering and when I saw that he couldnt talk right I busted into tears because I never heard my grandfather stuttered in such a horrible manner I also saw the reaction on my mothers face My mother went to go talk to the doctors to see what was the condition on him while me and my sister were holding my grandfathers hand As I was looking at him tears were running down my cheek faster than I could explain to you I couldnt take it any more I had to walk out the room Matter of fact I had to run out the room All of a sudden as I found myself standing outside I heard heavy breathing coming from his room I jerked my head around as fast as I could only to see the heavy breathing coming from my grandfathers lungs I kind of just froze there and that is where reality struck everyone in my family We immediately yelled for one of the doctors When the doctor spotted out our plead for help He came rushing in to see if his knowledge could somehow save my grandfather Before the doctor could even get to him My grandfather took his last deep breath gave a glance at my mother and soon after passed away The second his passed away my mother felt his hand slipping away from her grip When his hand dropped from my mothers grip it felt like the biggest-blackest cloud just has came over us It felt as if we were the saddest people on the face of this earth We were all crying hysterically as the doctors tried to revive him but obviously destiny took its toll At that very moment I felt like my life was torn apart We all had to be sent to another room in order to wait for the doctors to come in to confirm everything When the doctors open the door to enter the room I already knew by the facial expression that the doctor was carrying that it wasnt any good news he had installed for us

That night ended up being the worst night of my life I will never forget the last words my grandfather ever spoke They were can I have some water Those words will stay with me for the rest of my life
About Love
This is how it starts I will star to write a letter about love and peaceful moments by your side About Love it is the name of the song I am going to write about Why is this song so important to me It has to do mostly with my memories and feelings The song reminds me a period of time in my life when I was not old enough to understand its meaning It is very difficult to describe feelings thus they have to do with your personality life destiny and past This song became one of my favorites not a long time ago though About Love is not what may seem to indicate the actual meaning of the lyrics and the memories related to it in particular The story begins in airplane I was going back to United States from my motherland I was sixteen years old and it was my first visit to my native country since I left it in 1992 In summer1992 my family and I moved to Mexico After three and a half years spent in Mexico I moved to US where I am pursuing a college education majoring in Music Education Going back to the topic I remember how desperate I was I could not wait to go back to US There was nothing-special going on throughout my fly except the movie that I watched There was nothing left to do but sleeping or staring into the TV screen right in front of you I liked the movie a lot even though I did not watch it from the beginning and not knowing its name nothing about it But there was something else in it that made me remember it for a long time the song The song was great I loved it so much that I started a search on it being already in US After several months of research I still could not find out the name of the group I lost hope I quite my search without forgetting about its existence Year and I half have passed since I watched for first time a movie with that unforgettable song in it
Later on I met one fellow who originally is from the same country where I am from Later on he invited me for a party Than we started to watch a movie which from the mere beginning made me experience an effect called De-Gea-Vu that is like I have seen this movie before but I do not remember where and when I told it to my friend without really believing in what I was saying But suddenly I recognized the artist and the pot of the movie It was exactly that movie which I saw on my trip back to US the one with the famous song in it I started to exclaim and wonder how is that possible that I did not recognize it from the beginning It was an unforgettable moment I was really lucky and optimistic about it On the other hand I was pretty sad after all because the movie and specially that old song which was playing in my head for almost two years recalled those insignificant hours which I spent on the plain watching the movie that has made a strong affection on me The powerful lyrics has changed my life They helped me to understand and believe both in my country and myself
Last summer I finally went back for visiting purpose only to the country where I was born This time I knew I am not going to live without the CD in my pocket I still did not know much about that song arriving there but it did not last for long I bought the CD with my favorite song on it called About Love
Love by definition is an emotion explored in philosophy religion and literature often as either romantic love the fraternal love of others or the love of God based on the definition found in The Encarta Encyclopedia As I explored the definition by means of the Internet books and articles I noticed the definitions changed quite a bit but yet had the same basic understanding The definition I found in The Encarta Encyclopedia was probably the most simple and most basic It refers to love in the whole aspect which is Godly fraternal and romantic All in which can only be defined by one word and that it love
The definitions of love are the same and yet different Godly for instance is the love of God and your devotion and respect toward him the creator In all religion god carries the same aspect Fraternal love is the love of ones family and relatives even the love of one who is close to you in that respect such as a friend Then there s romantic love a love between two people which I consider to be both intimate and sexual Older dictionaries and encyclopedias usually refer to the romantic aspect of love as the love in which is experience between man and woman In today s society it is said that romantic love can be found regardless of your gender and based on that definition I would have to agree but personally disagree for the simply reason that we were physically made to adapt with the other gender sexually Feeling romantic love for the same sex would defeats the purpose of our existents which is procreation Thus making love for the same sex unjust
Love has been expressed since the beginning of time since Adam and Eve Each culture expresses its love in its own special way Though out history though it s aspect has always been the same Love has been a major characteristic of literature also One of the most famous works in literary history is Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare This story deals with the love of a man and a woman who s families have been sworn enemies There love surpassed the hatred in which the families endured for generations In the end they both ended up killing their selves for one could not live without the other This story is a perfect example of true love True love is the true feeling of romantic love and is a love that should last an eternity It is often referred to as true love because what is considered to be love is often faulty and corrupt not even true love at all Love can easily be mistaken for a simple crush or strong liking of someone The unfortunate thing is most people can t tell the difference between true love and corrupt love the end result may be a broken heart The term broken heart is used when something has jeopardized the romantic love between two people and the end result is the termination of what is called a relationship Basically hurting the person or persons emotionally involved in this so-called relationship
The term relationship has different definitions but the one I am referring to is the relationship between to people an intimate relationship It is said that when two people fall in love with each other they are to take it to a higher level a more intimate level which is called a relationship A relationship is basically a compatibility test to see if the two who are in the relationship are truly in love and can handle the duress in which they bring upon each other This is where the turning point of the relationship begins Should they decide to spend the rest of their lives with each other they will get married Marriage is basically a contract between two people creating a mutual dependence of one another in a lifetime of commitment This lifetime contract is a way of justifying the true love between couples a love that should last a lifetime Marriage is basically a custom throughout different cultures Most marriages are based on the sole purpose of creating a family a whole families basis is on love You can t have a family if you don t have the love that supports the family It starts as the love of two individuals and then progresses to the love of a family The love between parent and child is far more different than the love between husband and wife That is where the difference in the meaning of love comes in Romantic love is the love between husband and wife and fraternal love is the love between parent and child And if you re a religious family you have the love of your God All in which are very different and yet pretty much the same
Some marriages don t last unfortunately and the end result is a divorce A divorce is basically the termination of a marriage Most divorces occur due to corrupted love If it is true love it ll last a lifetime Nothing can break the love between two people if it s true love If it were possible to break this eternal bond it would have to have been a relationship based on corrupted love True love is very rare in my opinion and if it exists it will last a lifetime regardless If not that relationship is corrupt
Corrupted relationships are relationships that are falsified by ones wrong intentions in a relationship These intentions tend to throw the other companion into a belief that their partner loves them when in fact they don t thus causing heartbreak Most of these intentions are sexual and physical Any relationship based strictly on sexual and physical attraction will fail True love is primarily emotional These sexual tendencies are what cause a corrupt relationship
After researching the meaning behind love I have come to realize the importance it has on humanity Without love our race could not exist It is the love for one another that keeps us going unlike any species on earth we are the only ones that have this emotion and it is what makes us who we are Without love we are all lost
My life is terrible Every time I fall for someone I get hurt I just dont understand what I am doing wrong I do everything I can possibly think of With my last girlfriend Susan I bought here flowers candy dinner expensive jewelry I take her to movies – my treat I write her love poems from my heart letters when Im not with her I sing to her I play slow songs for her and I spend every waking moment with her All I got in return was a letter saying that we were not meant to be What I did isnt that what someone who is in love is suppose to do for the other person Why doesnt she love me back Is this love
The New Merriam-Websters Dictionary describes love as strong affection or attraction based on sexual desire Is that the true meaning of love People get so confused when talking about this subject because it is so hard to describe The simple definition given by the dictionary doesnt even begin to compare to what the majority of the peoples connotation of what love means
People will do absolutely anything for love I am a prime example of that Not only will I do endless things for the girl of my dreams but I will also spend as much time as I can with them To me love is a cherished thing between two people Something that connects two souls for life and that will never let them go It may be found at first sight or it may need to be worked on from a friendship Regardless of its beginnings it is a powerful force that cannot be dealt with lightly
There are also many different degrees of love You could love someone as family a friend an earned love for a person or as love at first sight The family love is pretty much dedicated to people that bore you into this life The ones that you know that you can tell anything to Your mother your father your siblings your kids your grandparents your cousins it doesnt matter which one you chose They will always have a love higher than you can give anyone else
A friendship love is something that must be earned You have to allow yourself to build up trust for this person You have to have gone through many things and help each other out of a lot of jams to earn this love This is also one of the only loves that can be dissolved even quicker than it came This love is very special but also very fragile at the same time
An earned love for a person is one that happens over time You start off as friends and during that time something hits you that makes you realize that you want to be with that person forever This is the kind of love that my parents went through At first they were friends for years but one day they woke up and said I need this person in my life I just cant stand to be without them This is one of the most special loves because you start from scratch and work your way up This is what most people think of when hearing the words I love you
The last love love at first sight can happen anywhere This is one of the rarest to come around but it ends up being the most enchanting one to come about I have experienced this one so Ill describe it through my eyes I woke up one morning and looked outside of my window I saw the most beautiful girl that could ever have been born Instantly I am in the shower and run down the stairs to meet this fantasy girl When I get to her I introduce myself Her name is Lindsay A beautiful name for an even more beautiful girl The next thing I know we are on a date and have everything in common Immediately I have a feeling in my heart that we will be together forever Once she leaves to go back to Florida the magic still doesnt stop I dream about it every night we write letters back and forth we decided to go to the same college to be together Everything I do I do for her This is the most fascinating love there could ever be
So what about the Susan deal I guess that wasnt love It must have been only a fling thrown in just to see how strong my love for Lindsay is With a love like that I do not need to search for another love because I know that love for a minute will not even stand near love for a lifetime
